I don't know if I have ever been impressed with food at an airport before. However, the Reuben sandwich I had at Berghoff was fantastic. It had the right amount of meat, sauerkraut, sauce, and bread. It was also HUGE. I was really happy with the price per portion. The staff was also helpful and quick with service. I will 100% grab a sandwich from here in the future.

Solid choice for food at OHare. Order at the sandwich counter, pay at the end and then wait for the order to be ready. Also has a bar. Was very busy at 3:30 on a Friday so no where to sit. Everything comes in Togo boxes so we just found chairs in the main hall.

Good but not great. Quick service with plenty of help behind the counter. Ordered a roast beef and provolone panini during my layover tonight. It hit the spot. Was it the best I've ever had? No. But it definitely wasn't near the bottom either. Solid 7/10 for a hot sandwich. And given it's an airport location, I'd say that pretty good overall. The decor was pretty cool even if the place is a little small (again, it's in the airport!). Would definitely order this again if needing a meal in this terminal.

This review goes solely to our bartender. I was hoping they had the thuringer sausage, but they did not. You can get it in the Loop at their main restaurant. Max and I got to the airport 7 hours too early. This gave us ample time to roam around. My coffee drink was outstanding. Bar area is small, but the seats are comfy.

We arrived at O'Hare early enough to grab a meal before our flight, and decided to do it near our gate. The café was directly across from us, so we headed over there to see what they had. We were able to grab a couple seats at the end of a long table next to the bar, which we shared with a party of four, with a couple empty seats in between. My husband went to the counter and got our sandwiches - a corned beef and Swiss for me, and roast beef and Swiss for him. We also each had a cocktail. The sandwiches were amazing. I didn't think I was that hungry, but I ate every bite. He did the same. I'm hoping next time we fly, our gate is also out that way. It was that good, that I'm craving airport food!

Solid breakfast omelette here! They serve as early as 6am here and yes it is legit. This airport location provides travelers with the opportunity to enjoy the same delicious food and beverages that the original restaurant is known for. It has a similar German-American menu, offering a range of options to suit different tastes. Travelers can savor traditional German dishes like bratwurst, sauerbraten, and spaetzle, as well as American classics like burgers and sandwiches. Whether you're a Chicago local or a visitor passing through the O'Hare International Airport, the Berghoff Cafe airport location offers a taste of the restaurant's renowned cuisine and a chance to experience a piece of Chicago's culinary history.

Food was really, really good! Impressed. Top 3 Cubans I've ever had and I'm from NYC. Service was good, greeted with conversation and a smile. Ambiance was chill casual, not pushy, not crowded.

Came into Terminal on a slow Tuesday afternoon, and found Berghoff's right next to my gate, otherwise saw a few other options. They have a sample row of their sandwiches by the ordering counter, so us boys can better make a visual decision. :-) Always miss a good heated Cuban sandwich/panini so it caught my eye, otherwise I was thinking the Reuben. Also got a yummy draft Hazy IPA, called the Adams Street Brewery "Dat's Da Joose"! The Cuban was a little too meaty for my liking and I didn't know I had to put my own mustard on it, should have asked!
